Today’s Conversation is with Scott Brown. Scott is the Associate Head Coach for Vanderbilt University Baseball with over 30 years of playing and coaching at the college level.  

This conversation will discuss the similarities between the military and competitive sports. 

·      Leadership

·      Raising 18-24yr old People into the best versions of themselves

 

He’ll go into detail on teaching what he calls “the 24hr Clock”

·       Discipline

·       Routines

·       Managing your Presence

 

You can’t help but learn more about leadership, building winning teams, and life. 

 

Scott is going into his 12th season as the pitching coach and eighth as associate head coach at Vanderbilt. Scott has helped the Commodores go 472-203-1 (.701). 

During Brown’s tenure, 39 Commodore pitchers have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 12 in the first three rounds. Scott has helped the Commodores to two national championships, four College World Series finals appearances, nine NCAA Tournaments, and six NCAA Super Regional appearances. Since 2013, 13 different Vandy pitchers have been named All-America.
